What you can look forward to as Sr. Welding Process Engineer:
Designing, coordinating the manufacturing, maintaining, and/or modifying tooling necessary for operating production lines under your responsibility.
Performing welding activities using various technologies, obtaining data that describe the characteristics of material joints.
Defining process flow and layout of the lines under your responsibility, using line balancing tools, time and motion analysis, and ergonomics to optimize resources.
Managing welding equipment and processes, including MIG/MAG, resistance, and projection welding.
Handling Fanuc and Panasonic robots.
Implementing vision systems and micro-percussion marking systems.
Conducting feasibility analysis and generating WPS and WPQR.
Leading and managing joint operations.
Your Profile as Sr. Welding Process Enginner:
4 to 5 years of experience as a Welding Process Engineer or similar roles. Knowledge of MIG/MAG welding, resistance welding, projection welding. Experience with Fanuc and Panasonic robots. Familiarity with vision systems and micro-percussion marking systems. Knowledge of servo presses and CQI-15 audits. Project management skills (MS Project). Proficiency in Windows Office, AutoCAD 2D & 3D. Understanding of quality and environmental systems (ISO/TS, IATF).
