Sr. Wellness Program Manager- Part Time (San Francisco, CA area)

Position Description:Located at the Martinez, California site of Marathon Petroleum, the Part-Time Senior Program Manager (PM) will work collaboratively with the designated Marathon health promotion team as part of WebMD’s Dedicated Well-being Services team. This individual will provide face-to-face health coaching to eligible participants and raise awareness of the onsite well-being program and the WebMD products and services that enable it. This position is onsite at the client location and contracted for 12 months from the time of employment. However, there is potential for the contract to be extended. This role requires 20 hours per week with a schedule that may vary to the population’s schedule. Additional hours of work may be requested based on need.



In this role, you will:

 

Provide face-to-face health coaching based on participants' completed health risk appraisal and stage of change.  Specialize in areas of mental health, including depression, anxiety, and stress.Utilize participant-centered coaching methodologies and/or theories to improve healthy lifestyle behaviors, long-term health outcomes, and quality of life.Increase awareness and engagement in client-wide well-being offerings, focusing primarily on mental health-related services. Create, promote, and deliver stress/mental health-focused programs to small and large groups both in-person and virtually. Assist and facilitate linkage between benefits, environmental health and safety, occupational health, medical, behavioral health/EAP, facilities, and other Marathon vendors. Assist with gathering, creating, and editing mental health-related materials for health education and program promotion. Assess low, medium, and high modifiable risk areas.Participate in collective record keeping which allows for continuity to exist between multiple health coaching sessions.Ensure all activities are member-focused and individualized, resulting in personalized attention to each participant’s unique needs.Integrate clinical and psychosocial information for case identification and individual participant assessment to develop action-oriented and time-specific planning and implementation of appropriate interventions.Coordinate and deliver onsite events including lunch and learns, stop-by booths, and health fairs. Coordinate well-being meetings, nutrition webinars, and other communications. Work closely with all Marathon vendor partners where applicable to support all well-being events and initiatives. Track and report on all participant-facing activities (presentations, tabling events, workshops). Review program performance and provide ongoing health/wellness strategy support. Perform other, varied job-related duties as assigned. 

Qualifications, skills, and experience:

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Kinesiology, Public Health, Nursing, Dietetics or other health-related disciplineMaster’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or other mental health discipline required.If not already certified, must achieve (and maintain) a nationally recognized certification within 6 months of employment, i.e.; NCC or Board-Certified Coach.Minimum of 2 years of experience in the mental health field providing clinical services.Independent licensure (LMHC, LCSW) is preferred but not required.Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple relationships with multiple client stakeholders in a dynamic and stressful environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Familiarity with MS Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Successful completion of a background check and drug screen is required.

Comp: $41 - $46.15/ hour (Part-Time/ 20 hour a week- Additional hours may be added based on client need
