Apply now! **Location:** 850 76th Street S.W. - Byron Center, Michigan 49315 **Job Description:** **Position Summary:** The Senior Workday Analyst is a key Human Resources Technology team member responsible for ensuring the effective operation, optimization, and continuous improvement of the company’s HR system (Workday). This role will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in Workday, providing strategic recommendations, managing system enhancements, and partnering with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to drive system efficiency and data integrity. The Senior Workday Analyst will lead HR technology initiatives, contribute to Workday governance, and support critical business functions by leveraging advanced reporting, analytics, and system configuration expertise. **Here’s What You’ll Do:** + Serve as a Workday SME, providing technical and functional support across multiple modules, including HCM, Compensation, Talent & Performance, Absence, Security, Integrations, and Reporting. + Lead Workday system enhancements, including requirement gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and documentation. + Act as a strategic partner to HR, Payroll, IT, and business leaders, recommending and implementing Workday solutions that improve processes and drive efficiency. + Conduct system audits and proactively identify opportunities to enhance data integrity, automation, and compliance. + Manage and optimize Workday reporting and dashboards, leveraging Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and Prism Analytics to deliver actionable insights. + Oversee Workday security roles and business processes, ensuring appropriate access controls and compliance with internal policies. + Lead and participate in Workday releases and testing cycles, ensuring system updates align with business needs and best practices. + Support and troubleshoot Workday integrations with third-party vendors, ensuring seamless data flow across systems. + Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts, fostering technical growth within the HR Technology team. + Document system processes, develop training materials, and conduct user training to enhance adoption and proficiency. + Stay informed on Workday trends, new features, and industry best practices, making recommendations for continuous improvement. + Partner with external consultants, vendors, and Workday support teams as needed for system enhancements or troubleshooting. **Here’s What You’ll Need:** + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). + 3+ years of Workday Administration/Configuration experience, with expertise in HCM, security, business processes, reporting, and integrations. + Strong understanding of Workday configuration, calculated fields, EIBs, and reporting tools. + Hands-on experience with Workday security, user roles, and data governance. + Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess business needs and translate them into Workday solutions. + Strong ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize competing demands, and meet deadlines. + Proficiency in HR analytics, with experience in data visualization tools such as Workday Prism, Tableau, or Power BI being a plus. + Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users. + Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset to identify system optimization opportunities. + Experience with Workday integrations (Studio, PECI, EIB, or API-based integrations) is a plus. + Workday certification(s) in HCM, Reporting, or other relevant modules is preferred. **Physical Requirements:** + Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds as needed. + Frequent sitting, standing, and walking in an office environment. + Occasional exposure to varying temperatures in specific areas (e.g., server rooms or production areas). + Noise levels are typically low to moderate but may vary depending on the environment. + Minimal travel may be required.
