Sr.Director Strategic Alliances Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Director to lead a team in driving add-on revenue growth and overseeing go-to-market strategies across multiple verticals in North America. This role includes managing strategic partnerships with hyperscalers, alliances, and referral partners, and overseeing the system implementation program, ensuring successful project delivery. The Senior Director will mentor directors and managers to achieve business goals, optimize workflows, and mitigate risks. Key responsibilities include driving revenue targets, leading cross-functional teams, and identifying commercial growth opportunities post-fiscal year. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, strategic, and program management skills with a focus on customer success. The role will lead a highly matrixed cross-functional team within Sage, including Global Strategic Partnerships, Product Management, Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, Partner Enablement, and will be responsible for the execution of the alliance GTM strategy in the region. Focus on New Customer Acquisition (NCA), Customer Retention, Improved Customer Experience, and Digital Transformation, the Strategic Alliance Director will partner closely with area sales leaders to ensure aligned strategies and execution plans support the goals of the strategic alliance partners and Sage. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience in managing highly matrixed complex alliances, partnerships, and GTM strategies. A Strong bias for action and an ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization is required. Demonstrated comparable experience in Business Development, Alliance or Partner Management, Partner Go-To-Market, and sales is expected. Strong history and track record of scaling global virtual and extended teams and achieving revenue, customer acquisition, margin, and return on marketing investment (ROMI) goals is required. Key Responsibilities: Drive Add-On Revenue Targets for North America: As Senior Director, you will lead and mentor a team of directors and managers to establish and execute strategies focused on increasing revenue from add-on products and services within the North American market. This will involve guiding teams to collaborate with sales, partners, and key stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities, drive adoption, and deliver sustainable growth across all add-on offerings. · Oversee Go-to-Market Motion for Add-Ons Across All Verticals: You will take a leadership role in overseeing the go-to-market strategy for add-ons across all verticals, working closely with senior leadership, directors, and managers to develop tailored messaging, define compelling value propositions, and align sales, marketing, and partner teams. Your leadership will ensure successful product launches, increase market penetration, and optimize add-on revenue streams. · Lead a Team to Deliver Referral Opportunities Through Hyperscalers, Alliances, and Referral Partners: Direct and inspire a team of managers responsible for cultivating and expanding strategic partnerships with hyperscalers like AWS, MSFT, and other key ecosystem partners. You will guide the team to deliver high-quality referral opportunities that drive new business, enhance customer retention, and maximize revenue generation, leveraging these partnerships for optimal commercial impact. · Oversee the Management of the System Implementation Program, Workflow, Risks, and Escalations: Lead the execution and oversight of the system implementation lifecycle, managing a team of directors and managers who ensure timely and successful project delivery. Your role will include providing strategic direction on risk management, workflow optimization, and escalation processes, ensuring that resources are effectively allocated to meet client expectations and achieve high customer satisfaction. · Identify Key Areas for Commercial Impact Post the Current Fiscal Year: As a senior leader, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including directors and managers, to analyze market trends and business performance, identifying areas of opportunity for commercial growth beyond the current fiscal year. By setting strategic priorities and guiding your teams to execute initiatives, you will drive the development of new markets, expand strategic partnerships, and foster innovation to deliver sustained long-term success.
