SRE Lead Software Engineer

In this role, you will:

Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impactAct as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplinesDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programsReview and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factorsMake decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiativesCollaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goalsLead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor


Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education5+ years of Site Reliability Engineering experience3+ years experience with application monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, App Dynamics, Google Logging, etc. 2+ years experience working with cloud applications


Desired Qualifications:

Thorough understanding of Production Application Support processes, including ITIL methodologyThorough understanding of application environment implementations, including on prem, client server, on prem cloud (Azure or Pivotal Cloud Foundry), hybrid cloud and public cloudExperience using and configuring Continuous Integration Continuous Deploy (CICD) tools including Jenkins, Aritifactory, Udeploy as well as TerraformExperience with building Automation playbooks with Ansible or equivalentExperience implementing application Observability through tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, Elastic, BigPanda (AIOPS), Grafana, Microsoft Application InsightsUnderstanding and experience in implementing infrastructure and application resiliency – load balancers (F5, AVI) and data replication techniquesExperience supporting Java and .NET applications, RDBMS experience with Oracle and MSSQL; MongoDB a plus

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$111,100.00 - $237,100.00
