The majority of the projects performed for our clients require multi-discipline interface and coordination.

 

Responsibilities include:

Lead efforts performed by group members to ensure successful completion of either Engineering and/or  O&M project deliverables to meet all technical, quality, financial and project controls expectationsInitiating and conveying scope of work to group membersDefining deliverables (i.e., calcs, specs, drawings, design change etc.)Reviewing status and tracking progress of group members to maintain project scope/budget and keep client informedRoutine status meetingsSubmitting progress reportsTracking and resolving open items and emergent project issuesCoordinating completion of project deliverables  Develop engineering & operation evaluations to support plant maintenanceProvide technical oversight for operations & engineering activities to include:component evaluations for equipment operation and maintenanceReplace or upgrade existing plant equipment to ensure long-term equipment reliabilitySupport specification developmentBid review evaluation process for potential equipment vendors, to include supporting vendor requests for additional information, developing responses to vendor questions, and maintaining a tracking mechanism for questions/responsesInterface with the client/plant , including implementing personnel to validate scope and ensure client satisfactionIdentify client needs that may result in strategic opportunitiesLeverage good client relationships to develop follow-on work from existing clientsPrepare/Coordinate multi-discipline teams Qualifications

A BS or MS degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program (preferred)Ten or more years’ experience in the design, operation of systems for power plantsExperience in the selection of equipment, materials, and the preparation and assembling of engineering design change packages, calculations, and specificationsExperience in nuclear plant operations, plant systems, testing, surveillances, and procedure developmentExperience with serving as firm/client liaison in a support or lead operations or engineering roleExperience with plant mechanical,  I&C, electrical system, security and/or operationsEffective written and verbal communication skills to convey information to project team members and clientProficiency with MS Office applicationsDetail oriented approach to workCapable of being badged for unescorted access to a nuclear stationPE Licensure and /or Licensed Reactor Operator is preferred
