Position Summary

SRS Bus Drivers will be responsible for moving SRS instructors, staff, and lesson guests between West Village and Sunrise. They will be responsible for either driving the bus up from the town lot or from a location on the mountain. The job could include heavy snow shoveling.  Additional job duties are to keep Ski and Ride school yurts and vehicles clean. 

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities

Vehicle pre-trip inspection / clean as necessary / report mechanical issue to Manager. 

Safely drive Instructors, Staff, and Lesson Guests between West Village and Sunrise. 

Shovel Snow. 

Secondary Function 

Assis with other SRS operations 

Job Scope

You will be expected to maintain your composure and energetic personality during busy and high-stress situations. There will be moments of downtime and we expect you to have the initiative to find a task instead of doing nothing.  

Interpersonal Contacts

Parents, Children, Instructors, Sales Staff, & Lodge Services. 

Specific Job Skills

License/Certifications: CDL with a passenger endorsement required.

Technical: Experience driving in snow and ice.

Physical Capabilities: Able to remain seated for extended periods, able to walk on uneven surfaces, able to shovel large amounts of snow. 

Additional: Due to the sensitive nature of this position, a criminal background check will be conducted after the position is accepted. This background check will be done following standards enacted under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Education/Related Experience

Minimum time in related position: Commercial Driving experience preferred.

Current Hiring Rate: $24/hr

Minimum Age Requirement: 18+
