Introduction to the job
As an innovation leader in the semiconductor industry, ASML supply chain plays a critical role to enable its success. While interfacing suppliers externally and product/goods delivery associated stakeholders internally are no doubt important, at the same time there’s a team plays as central back office to support people at frontline is equally important. ASML wants to utilize this team to identify, execute, and rollout critical projects to enable ASML and their employees successful together with internal and external stakeholders. During ramping ASML Asia supply chain, both ASML organization and suppliers landscape are growing, people development by learning and knowledge organization is one of the key domains to focus on. Other projects such as enabling global supply chain operation by agreed way of working, efficient tools like suppliers interfacing portal are also critical to increase efficiency.
Role and responsibilities
SS&P Asia PPPM (Portfolio, Program, Project Management)
Co-work with ASML Priority Initiative and SS&P global Portfolio program
To understand initiated project and align SS&P Asia roles in program
To be Asia hub to co-work with aligned to execute projects lead globally
Collaborate with cross SS&P Asia departments
Collaborate with cross regions/sectors to initiate regional projects
As path finder, follow project management methodology (preliminary study, kickoff, plan, manager approval, execution/rollout, close through visible progress by presentations), to manage each topics.
S&P Asia L&KM (Learning & Knowledge Management)
Co-work with ASML people development and SS&P global L&KM program
To co-work with SS&P L&KM global program, to rollout annual training roadmap
To annually update Asia skill matrix with SMEs upon business needs
To have employee heatmap to identify development area with Asia leaders
To come out and execute Asia developed annual training roadmap
To dry run course to secure training quality before rollout upon course timeframe
To follow SOP to get feedback after training and provide wrap up report
Business Needs / Improvements
Plans and coordinates the identification, elicitation of requirements; conducts analysis of those requirements for completion and alignment; documents and manages requirements throughout the life of the project; and coordinates the verification of the end deliverable. Identifies opportunities for improvement; proposes/makes improvements to work processes.

Project Management Strategy and Methodology
Independently chooses and applies the relevant Project Management methodologies, including reporting, risk analysis and using ASML's project management standards and tools.
Project scope definition
Manages the delivery of research, workshops, and other activities to support the specification and agreement of project deliverables.
Project Planning / Roadmap
Produces workstream or project plans, ensuring that all activities are identified, are appropriately organized to deliver project objectives, and comply with the organization's project management framework
Project Team Management
Leads a small project team; communicates the outcomes needed and direction to achieve outcome, coordinates team actions on project tasks; requests additional team member support when needed; and identifies areas of improvement necessary to build the capability of the team through training, coaching and mentoring
Project Resource Management
Manages the deployment of project resources, proactively managing project costs, providing forecasts, and presenting variances with narrative at appropriate review points to ensure effective utilization
Project Governance
Ensures project compliance with ASML's wider program and/or portfolio management decision-making structures and processes
Stakeholder Management and Advising
Plans and delivers stakeholder engagement activities to develop effective project working relationships and to ensure that stakeholder needs and concerns are identified and met
Project Risk and Issue Management
Identifies and evaluates risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the project, escalating where appropriate. Reviews and solves problems (technical, process, logistic), prioritizes, informs stakeholders, and escalates on problems where necessary
Project Review / Reporting
Drafts project review reports and presentations, including key information, commentary, and recommendations to support the review process and enable stakeholders to evaluate progress and agree on change
Project Benefit Realization
Carries out baseline assessment and post-implementation analyses to contribute to the measurement and tracking of business benefits
People Development
Is able to organize team structure (roles & responsibilities) and meeting rhythm. Mentors project team members
Education and experience
8+ years relevant experience of project management in strategy and/or execution, preferably in a corporate, technology-related international company
Bachelor or Master degree in MBA or related field, engineering background is a plus
Central of Excellence / Business Intelligence Engineer / Project Management background
Familiar with ASML sourcing and procurement, by multiple roles experiences
Lean / Hoshin Kanri / Learning & Knowledge / People Development experience are plus
Proven ability to lead and work with cross-sector and cross-region teams, on a complex project, from beginning to closure
Excellent internal and external communication and presentation skills, in Mandarin and English. Able to explain complex matters in simple terms, and communicate to upper management with insight of impact on business and recommendation of solutions
A leader and driver, able to collaborate and work well with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
Strategic thinking, while attention to details. Can zoom in and zoom out, from details to bigger picture
