Responsibilities and Tasks Develop Product Reliability Methodology as subject Matter Expert for new and existing systems.Review and participate in system product architecture process.Comprehend new system processes/technologies for product reliability issuesEnsure system product architecture and design aligns with required quality and reliability specifications.Analyze system and component reliability data for product feasibility and risk assessmentsComprehend failures and failure rate within the scope of the qualification, integration, and field environmentsCoordinate with research and development teams.Preferred Skills:Working experience with Solid State Drive firmware, drivers and/or applicationsWorking experience in NVMe, PCIe, SAS and/or SATA based product development or ValidationKnowledge of 2D & 3D NAND in device physics, reliability & endurance statistical data analysis in Excel, R or JMP (Preferred)Prior experience in quality and reliability (Preferred)A high degree of self-initiative and the ability to think and act independently.Experience with programming/scripting languages in C, C++ or Python (Good to have)Familiarity with solid state drive (SSD) architecture and performance and reliability requirementsExhibiting technical leadership skills, ability to communicate with senior leadershipExperience/Degree RequiredExperience in Product/Device engineering, System Validation and/or Reliability engineering in Semiconductor domainPHD + 3years or Masters + 5years degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent engineeringThe US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$95,000.00 - $200,500.00Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
