Your role:

Mission:

With in-depth understanding of the needs from clinical customer and Siemens Healthineers business line partners, able to build long-term trusted partnership with key stakeholders, drive and co-create innovative AI solutions by design and implement deep learning based technologies on large-scale data sets for real-world clinical problems.

Primary Responsibilities:

-             Lead the design, development and validate algorithms in Deep Learning or traditional image processing methods to solve clinical demands

-             Close collaboration with Siemens Healthineers business partners to understand and capable of foresee the requirements and proactively drive and land AI solutions

-             Close collaboration with clinical partners for better understanding of the clinical challenges for proactive innovative technical concept

-             Develop efficient metrics / evaluation criterion to judge algorithmic efficacy and performance based on clinical demands

-             Continuously scout the latest technology for technology trend analysis and selection of optimal technology for AI solutions

-             Scientific publication and intellectual properties

Qualifications:

Experience

-             Strong technical background in Deep Learning and familiar with traditional image processing methods etc.

-             Proficiency in Python and ability to quickly prototype in C++ is desired

-             3 year+ experience in building medical imaging AI solutions. Especially for major clinical domains like cardiovascular, neurovascular or oncology is preferred

-             3 year+ experience of medical image and medical big data of mature & market-leading industry AI product preferred

-             3 year+ research experience in image segmentation, detection, classification, registration etc. preferred

-             Strong ability to proactively search novel technologies to continuously improve the solution performance in a fast-paced environment

-             Initiates, sets up and conducts value co-creation activities to identify and validate concepts for new features and solutions

-             Able to guide and manage the expectation from business partners and push new features into product.

-             Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English are required.

-             Excellent interpersonal and personal skills like teamwork and collaboration, presentation, creativity, and innovativeness.

Education:

Ph.D. in an engineering or science field such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or Applied Math with at least 3 years industry experience.

Alternative MSc. in an engineering or science field such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or Applied Math with at least 5 years industry experience.
