Skills and Abilities:
Forklift operator’s licenseValid driver license.Basic computer skills pertaining to Windows, SAP, and other maintenance related systems.Good work record that includes no company issued discipline in the last 6 months.Demonstrated ability to verbally communicate material effectively in a training environment.Must currently be Tech 4 or above.Minimum of two years plant mechanical experience preferred,Qualified to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all major equipment in the posted department.Holds locally or nationally recognized high pressure boiler and refrigeration license.Has the training and ability to manipulate equipment programs and other electronic controls.Physical Requirements:
Corrected 20/20 vision and able to distinguish colors.Ability to lift or move 50 pounds.Free use of all four limbs or equivalent use of prosthesis.Ability to withstand wet; humid, cold, and hot environments.Essential Functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
All preventive maintenance and repairs, including lubrication, adjustment, rebuilding, scheduled service, cleaning, and assisting operators in the efficient operation of plant equipment.Identify parts and supplies needed to complete job tasks.Coordinate and document the training activities of new or transferred Utilities Technicians.Lead equipment troubleshooting, process improvement, and new process project activities to ensure that effective solutions are reached.Perform equipment audits, modify PM schedules, and assist to draft equipment troubleshooting procedures in order to improve machine reliability and engineer effectiveness.Responsible to fill Utilities Technician vacancies within shift/area as directed by supervision.Observe and promote all Plant Safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) specifications.Maintain proper housekeeping in work area as well as keep equipment clean and orderly at all times.Work together in a team environment.Track and maintain all required records.Schedule and area will be flexible by needs of company.Any other assigned responsibilities by management.Requirments:
6 months maintenance experience in any maintenance field.Or 3 months maintenance experience in any maintenance field with a maintenance education (I.E; Possess a technical maintenance diploma or be currently enrolled in a technical school or program).Relocation Assistance Eligible:
