Lead current model quality projects for high warranty and QR reduction issues.
Guide cross functional team with support of Master Black Belt ,using a strategically driven 6-sigma approach, to provide timely and robust resolution to high leverage ,complex ,current model supplier process quality concern.
Ensure alignment with STA, PD and other Ford functions as appropriate to address technical and systemic opportunities.
Identify system lessens learned from project work and cascade to Site/Core STA .Work with core STA to document the few systemic critical lessens learned into corporate document (e.g. Health Charts, Ford Manufacturing Requirement, CQI, etc.) to assure failure mode avoidance on new and existing products.
Complete Top supplier training in strategic problem solving , Green Belt, and Quality tool as part of internal Ford training . Supplier to only be trained as part of classes for Ford employees and not incremental classes.
Provide advice and consult on technical problem solving and data analysis to regional STA organization and other Ford functions as required.
Coach and certify Black Belt / Verify Green Belt candidates and provide training in Quality tool to support individual competency development .
Conduct a minimum of two formal 6-sigma training sessions each year to support organization competency development.
Minimum : Bachelor of Engineering / Science or academic equivalent.
Certified Black Belt or Black Belt candidate working towards certification during role.
Proven annalistically skill with a passion for 6 sigma, exposure to Quality tool and knowledge of Ford's problem solving technique, data analysis and statistical tool.
Knowledge of vehicle or powertrain component commodities, functions and related features.
Strong communication skill with the ability to lead and facilitate cross functional team.
Ability to speak and written in English language fluently to effectively communicate with global team.
