Plant On site Supplier Technical Assistance (STA) support for Supplier Quality issues.
Support Plant Incoming Quality on incoming Quality issues and liaise with Suppliers for corrective actions.
Drive Supplier continuous improvement through Critical supplier process and monitor supplier performance.
Active leadership in Plant Quality Meetings and support in providing feedback for Supplier issues (Incoming and Warranty)

BTECH: Mechanical Engineering STA or Incoming Quality (IPQ) Experience. Plant manufacturing experience. Experience in Quality systems, tools, and techniques. Strong communication and team building. Minimum 2 years’ experience in automotive Industry is preferred.  Execute Critical Supplier Process and drive continuous improvement plans with key contributing suppliers. Participate in daily VRT meetings etc., Drive resolution of external supplier process warranty concerns (0 MIS) through ECB binning, supplier notification, and driving containment at the supplier. Support QR (Quality Reject) procedures, by supporting concern binning, reviewing threshold QR’s, and providing support for dispute resolution. Assist IQ with non- responsive suppliers. Assist suppliers and plants in QR/PPM (Parts Per Million) data accuracy. Administer part quality confirmation process for suppliers with repetitive containment failure. Lead containment of special cause supplier process zero MIS BSAQ (Balanced Single Agenda for Quality) projects. Support IPQ in Daily Plant Quality Meeting/Weekly Functional Quality Reviews. Provide early notification to and engage STA Site team on potential stop shipments which are related to supplier process. Provide support in containing supplier stop ship issue. Assist STA Site team with vehicle on hold and release process tracking. Work with Stop Ship Stakeholders to support proper root cause owner is identified for PAC (Prevent Action Closure). Align with VRT (Variability Reduction Team) on SP (Supplier Process) BSAQ Glidepath values. Monitor daily production report and provide notification to STA management for issues that require site STA awareness/intervention.  Act as direct PVT (Plant Vehicle Team) resident supplier representative and liaison between STA and plant management, lead supplier preparation for VQR’s (Vehicle Quality Review).
