The Stabilization & Roving Coordinator will be responsible for the project management of establishing services at new housing communities that are in the process of leasing up. This includes processing the referrals for permanent supportive housing units. The Stabilization & Roving Coordinator position provides resources, advocacy, crisis intervention, and supportive services to residents both in-person and remotely.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND ASSOCIATED TASKS
Stabilization Project Management
• Establishes supportive services within new housing communities, including establishing Housing
Support program when needed.
• Maintains internal processes and procedures for leasing permanent supportive housing (PSH) units.
• Working direction with referrals for PSH units provided by Coordinated Entry.
• Completion of HMIS documentation for new PSH units coming online.
• Coordination with each Continuum of Care and County for referrals for new Permanent Supportive
Housing units, and existing units as assigned.
Roving Service Coordination
• Plan, coordinate, promote, manage, and document the delivery of resident-centered programs and
services within housing communities.
• Work collaboratively with property managers to provide lease education and support residents in
overcoming challenges to lease compliance.
• Support resident engagement with the community by providing technical and resource support.
Develop collaborative community relationships to support resident housing stability.
Maintains communication flow and functions as a team leader
• Provides mentorship to new team members
• Follows through with own job responsibilities and assignments
• Engages in constructive problem solving and conflict resolution
• Provides information needed by other team members in a timely and effective manner
• Gives and receives feedback to and from supervisor and other team members
• Utilize Outlook email function – read and respond to emails
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field OR at least four years of work experience in a
related field.
• Knowledge of community resources and service networks.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience working within diverse communities, which include people of various
ages, gender, sexual orientations, national origins, income levels, ability levels, religious affiliations,
races, and languages.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment with both internal and external partners.

• Ability to network and develop community partnerships
• Experience using MS Office 365 and other software programs.
• Be certified in CPR and First Aid or can become certified within six months of starting position.
Preferred Qualifications
• Licensed mental health professional or social worker.
• Experience working with individuals and families transitioning out of homeless and working
with coordinated entry system.
• Knowledge of affordable housing programs.
• Multilingual.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to file documents.
• Ability to enter data into a computer.
• Ability to interact verbally with internal and external audiences.
Other Requirements
• Must be willing and able to travel between sites using personal vehicle.
