Staff, Search Engine Optimization
**Job Description:** THE OPPORTUNITY Based in New York City and reporting to the Head of SEO, the Staff, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) role will be responsible for helping to develop, execute, and evaluate holistic search engine marketing-based campaigns for digital properties under the Scholastic umbrella. is role will collaborate closely with stakeholders (Engineering, Product, Marketing, Sales, Data and Analytics) to expand keyword footprint, increase share of voice (SOV), drive leads, and increase natural search derived traffic and revenue. RESPONSIBILITIES + Work with a multitude of business partners & product segments to research, launch, develop, and complete SEO projects working with technology, product, ecommerce & content teams. + Identify new opportunities, content updates, and technical updates to improve natural search traffic to our websites. + Reporting key metrics, tracking keywords, and working with analytics tools. + Researching technical issues, understanding Search Console errors, and monitoring for SEO best practices. + Writing suggestions for teams to include keywords in pages, also creating content suggestions to improve pages new & existing. + Presentations, quarterly reports, and working across business units while communicating to leadership. **About Scholastic** For more than 100 years, Scholastic Corporation (NASDAQ: SCHL) has been meeting children where they are – at school, at home and in their communities – by creating quality content and experiences, all beginning with literacy.
