Are you looking to start your accounting career in an organization that is driving significant social impact and helping people realize their potential? Do you have a passion for continuously assisting in transforming accounting operations from good to great? The Staff Accountant, Corporate Cards role is an entry level position responsible for understanding and contributing to the accounting operations on the operational expense team.  We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused, entrepreneurial individual who is proactive in their approach to their role. Our Corporate card (p-card) team takes great ownership in their roles through an enhanced knowledge that comes from in-depth interactions with the businesses they support.

Your Responsibilities IncludeMaintain organized, professional communication with employees to provide credit card and expense reporting support via the internal ticketing systemManage employee account creation and maintenance for corporate credit cards and SAP Concur ExpenseReview and process expense reports and reimbursement requests to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely submissionCreate and maintain accurate vendor records for paymentSupport the month end close process by preparing journal entries and accrualsAssist in continually improving and streamlining processesUnderstand and maintain 100% compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standardsAssist other accounting teams on an as-needed basisKnowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization0-2 years of experience in a professional office environmentInterest in learning aspects of accounting and bookkeepingProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelHigh level of integrity and confidentialityStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsHigh degree of organization and attention to detailAbility to multi-taskFlexibility and willingness to learn and change in a fast-paced environmentStrong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbalResults-driven approachStandout Candidates May Also BringGeneral ledger accounting experienceBachelor’s or associate degree in accounting or financeWhat We OfferA meaningful career where your work will improve the lives of millions of AmericansA vision-driven organization of over 1,000 employees across the country who are dedicated to improving the lives of othersCompetitive salaries and bonuses.
