Position Summary:
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions. This role will support various accounting activities, including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and month end close processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports. Assist in the month end and yearend close processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of general ledger entries. Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Conduct variance analysis and report findings to management. Assist with internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies. Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial information.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills.
