\n\t\t\t\t\tStaff Accounting Duties \n•\tParticipate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, including journal entries and account reconciliations.\n•\tAssist with general ledger maintenance and support financial statement preparation.\n•\tPrepare accruals, prepaid expense schedules, and fixed asset tracking.\n•\tEnsure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.\n•\tCollaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.\n•\tManage the Accounts Payable process and authorize payment to suppliers\n\nCompetency Statements \nTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position. \n•\tAnalytical—able to quickly synthesize complex or diverse information. \n•\tProblem solving—identifies and resolves problems in a rapid manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully. \n•\tOral communication—the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, demonstrates group presentation skills, and leads meetings. \n•\tManagement skills—Operates with a sense of urgency, includes others in planning, facilitating and process improvement; makes self-available to staff; provides regular performance feedback; and develops skills of others to facilitate professional growth.\n•\tJudgment—the individual displays willingness to make timely decisions, exhibits sound and accurate judgment. \n•\tPlanning / organizing—Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities, prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans.\n•\tLeadership – demonstrated hands on leader, ability to juggle multiple conflicting priorities simultaneously, confidence and executive presence, ability to motivate others within the finance organization.

\n\t\t\t\t\t•\tBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.\n•\t2-3 years of progressive accounting experience with a strong emphasis in cost accounting; manufacturing experience strongly preferred.\n•\tSolid understanding of U.S. GAAP, cost accounting principles, and internal controls.\n•\tProficient with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Infor) and advanced Excel skills.\n•\tExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\n•\tProven ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $33.66/hr.
