Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Jeffersonville, Indiana. As a key member of our accounting team, you will play a vital role in managing financial processes and supporting our development projects. Responsibilities: • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records. • Prepare monthly financial reports for multiple ongoing development projects. • Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes with precision. • Collaborate closely with the development team to support project needs. • Compile and submit pay application documents to lenders for project closings. • Assist with ad hoc financial tasks and reporting as requested by leadership. Requirements • A minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field. • Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance. • Strong knowledge of journal entries and month-end close processes. • Experience with preparing accurate and timely financial statements. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
