Essential duties and responsibilities for Staff Accountant include:

Prepare month-end journal entries and reconciliationsAssist with month and year-end close processJoint Venture accounting and preparation of Joint Venture financial statementsAssist with preparing and assembling information for interim and year-end auditsAssist with ad-hoc projectsOther general accounting duties as assigned

 

This position allows for a hybrid work schedule with the expectation of 3 days in our downtown Chicago office and 2 days working remotely from home.

Qualifications

This position requires:

BS or MS in AccountingCPA candidacy desirable but not required1-2 years accounting experienceDetail-oriented and strong analytical skillsStrong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and sound business judgmentAbility to work collaboratively across functional areasAdvanced skills in ExcelDeltek CostPoint experience a plus
