Staff Accountant
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in the Real Estate & Property industry. The role is based in Oregon, Wisconsin. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including maintaining accurate financial records, submitting construction contracts to lenders, and performing bank reconciliations. Responsibilities: • Manage and process customer credit applications in an accurate and efficient manner • Maintain and update customer credit records regularly • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary • Prepare and submit construction contracts to lenders for reimbursement • Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable duties • Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain the general ledger • Prepare and post journal entries • Complete month end close procedures • Utilize various accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. Requirements • Possess strong knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Proficiency in conducting Bank Reconciliations • Well-versed in maintaining General Ledger and creating Journal Entries • Ability to manage Month End Close procedures effectively • Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines • Demonstrated integrity and adherence to ethical standards • Familiarity with real estate and property industry is a plus.
