Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant to join our team in Maple Lake, Minnesota, 55358, United States. In this role, you will be tasked with assisting in month-end close processes, account reconciliation, account analysis, journal entries, and general ledger management. This is a short-term contract position. Please note that this description does not indicate the potential for full-time or permanent employment. Responsibilities: • Conduct monthly account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. • Perform account analysis to ensure entries and balances are correct. • Assist in the preparation and processing of various journal entries as required. • Support in the month-end close processes to meet deadlines. • Manage general ledger activities and maintain accurate records. • Utilize your skills in General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, Account Reconciliation, and Account Analysis to fulfill the responsibilities of the role. Requirements • Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. • Proficiency in General Ledger management is required. • Experience with Journal Entries is essential. • Ability to handle Month End Close procedures is mandatory. • Expertise in Account Reconciliation is necessary. • Knowledge and experience in Account Analysis is a must. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required. • The applicant must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred. • The candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is required. • Applicant must possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Knowledge of accounting software and databases is preferred. • Familiarity with financial regulations is a plus. • The ability to handle confidential information is necessary.
