General Summary:
Excellent opportunity to join the Hardware, Software, Subscription and Services Revenue team in support of the revenue process for Qualcomm’s WIN (Wireless / Bluetooth hardware) and IoT (Internet of Things) business with a focus on rebates/incentives. This role provides the opportunity to interact closely with Sales Operations, Product Management & Finance to support these businesses and key revenue reporting processes. It also provides great exposure to the distributor process and in-depth learning opportunities on unique distributor pricing models, ship and debit programs, inventory management and revenue reporting. This role will also partner with the IT team to navigate multiple transactional systems and ERP (Model N, Salesforce, Oracle etc.) and will be an active participant on process improvements projects.
Responsibilities:
Prepare month/quarter-end close including journal entries, reconciliations and quarterly report schedules for internal/external reportingResponsible for Distributor Ship and Debit and Phantom inventory process, including claim processing, review of system reports, preparation of SOX approval routing for credit memo/payment request forms with supporting documentationAnalyze and prepare quarterly forecast to management on key account balancesPartner with Technical Accounting for non-standard software contract revenue recognitionIT partnership for revenue system enhancementsMinimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree.• 4+ years of Accounting, Finance, or related work experience.
*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$98,000.00 - $147,000.00The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
