Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Miami Beach, Florida, in the heart of South Beach for a retail distributor. The primary function of this role is to ensure accurate financial transactions and reporting within the accounting department. You'll be working in a vibrant and fast-paced environment, utilizing your skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, and various accounting software like SAP, Oracle, and QuickBooks. Responsibilities: • Accurately process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions • Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy • Maintain and update the general ledger on a regular basis • Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process • Utilize accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, and QuickBooks for financial tasks • Ensure adherence to established accounting principles and company procedures • Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes • Manage and maintain financial records in NetSuite • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports.
