Position Overview:

 

The Staff Accountant ensures the Balance Sheet Integrity by doing the Balance Sheet General Ledge accounts reconciliation, verification and validation.

 

Responsible for developing, interpreting and implementing financial concepts by leading the Company’s efforts to transform reporting from Excel to Power BI; providing valuable insights, data analysis, and strategic recommendations for accounting, finance and sales.

 

Support the cost accounting by planning, collecting, and analyzing manufacturing data to determine activity such as raw material purchases, Cost of Sales, As-Sold cost, scrapping, inventory and labor.

Responsibilities Performs the Balance Sheet Integrity process which include reconciliation, validation and verification of the Balance Sheet account, follows up on the issues and actions and reflects the agreed solutions in the SAPLeads the data gathering, communicates with IT on developing the datasets and develops the Power BI reportsFacilitates manufacturing standard cost reviews and leads the PMO activities to timely address the issues and concerns Reviews monthly results and implement monthly variance reportingImprove manufacturing costs and pricing processes, procedures and standardsAnalyze and develop cost standards for materials and laborAnalyze manufacturing wastes and identify ways to reduce inventoryAnalyze inventory valuations & revenue recognition in accordance with GAAPScrutinize manufacturing cost variances & optimize profitabilityAssists with monthly closing process; posting journal entries in SAPSupports internal / external auditing Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports and verifying informationAnswers accounting and financial ad-hoc questions by researching and interpreting data

 

Qualifications Accounting , Finance, Computer Science Bachelor’s degree or CPA, ACMA/GCMA, CMA, CFA credentialsMinimum of 5 years of accounting, finance or digital experiencePower BI reports development skills prefered SAP knowledge is requiredAdvanced Excel skills are requiredDigital (IT) background is preferredPower Automate skills are preferredComputer skills including MS OfficeKnowledge of full-cycle accountingExcellent verbal and written communication skills, strong team playerSelf-motivated and detail-orientedMust be willing to take on additional responsibilities and grow with the team, willing to take a lead to deliver the projects and tasksStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
