Staff Accountant
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team! In this role, your primary responsibilities will center around financial reporting, with a particular focus on managing accounts receivable (AR).  Key Responsibilities: + Prepare and maintain financial reports; reconcile general ledger accounts. + Assist in budget preparation and analyze financial data for trends and variances. + Ensure compliance with financial regulations and support month-end/year-end close processes. + Process invoices and manage accounts receivable (AR); record product deliveries. + Prepare and file sales and use tax returns; manage accounting email and inquiries. + Collaborate with departments for accurate financial reporting and explore growth through additional accounting responsibilities. What We’re Looking For: + Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. + Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and proficiency in QuickBooks. + Effective communication both written and verbal. Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines. + Detail-oriented, eager to learn and solve problems, with a strong sense of integrity. + Ability to leverage technology (QuickBooks, expense management software, CRMs) and maintain confidentiality. Experience: + A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience outside of formal education. + Previous experience or knowledge in the healthcare sector is a plus. Education/Certification: + Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
