Job Summary

Carries out general, cost or sub-ledger accounting activities for a defined scope. This position reports to the Regional Controller.

Main Responsibilities Prepare JE's and review month-end financials for accuracy Process adjusting entries and reclassifications as needed or directed by Controller and Plant Managers Perform inventory management by monitoring transactions, update general ledgers, gather and analyze data, and perform audits and assessments for multiple asphalt and aggregate plant business units Prepare and reconcile financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, invoices, and other documents Assist with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records Assist with AP, AR job cost and payroll duties Assist with audit request Ad hoc duties assigned by the Controller Education Bachelor's degree required in Accounting or Finance Skills Strong problem solving and analytical skills Proven ability working with Microsoft Office products with advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred Detailed oriented Excellent interpersonal and teambuilding skills Company Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision insurance Company paid life insurance and optional dependent life insurance Company paid short term disability and optional long term disability 401K plan with company match Annual 2% company contribution Parental Paid Leave Employee Assistance Program Employee Discounts
