Position Summary:

A company in the Food Production Industry is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. This position will be responsible for performing a wide range of general accounting duties and work closely with upper management.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Reconcile bank statements, balance sheet accounts, and resolve discrepancies promptly.Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary entries and schedules.Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and work with external auditors during audits.Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in the implementation of new accounting procedures.Participate in special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
