Our Staff Accountant will compile financial information, processes journal entries, reconciles accounts, prepares reports and analyzes financial data. Some familiarity with and an awareness of the laws and regulations that apply to an accounting function are required to ensure compliance. This person will possess knowledge of the Company's financial accounting systems. On a regular and continuous basis, exercises administrative judgment and assumes responsibility for decisions, consequences, and results having an impact on people, costs, and/or quality of service within the functional area.

Responsibilities Provide quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values.Review, analyze and process all capital asset additions, disposals, transfers and depreciation.Prepare journal entries in accordance with Company policies and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.Perform and document internal controls.Compile and analyze financial information with a high level of accuracy.Prepare monthly reporting to senior management team.Prepare supporting schedules for external audit.Assist with annual budget process.Develop process improvements to gain efficiencies.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting.Two to three years of strong general accounting experience including fixed assets.Strong oral and written communication skills. Interaction proficiency with peers, clients and management.Positive attitude and continuous improvement mentality. Keen problem solving and analytical skills.Strong organizational skills. Ability to prioritize assignments according to timelines and importance of tasks.Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to work both independently and with others.Ability to operate in a fast moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment with tight deadlines.Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and Windows-based computer applications with advanced knowledge of Excel.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience with fixed assets in Workday.

It’s important to note the pay range may be narrower than displayed, as various factors are used to determine the offered compensation package including skill set, level of experience, geographic locations, and other relevant factors- i.e. budgetary requirements.


Pay Range $54,000.00 - $83,829.12
