Staff Accountant
Description We are offering a long-term employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is vital to our operation in the industry, where you will be expected to handle high volume general ledger operations and reconciliations. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee all aspects of our accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy. • Maintain the general ledger, preparing journal entries and monthly close processes. • Utilize accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to streamline processes and improve efficiency. • Monitor and analyze financial reports, identifying and resolving any discrepancies promptly. • Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures. • Perform other related duties as necessary to support the efficient operation of the department. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) management is a must. • Ability to handle Accounts Receivable (AR) effectively. • Experience in Bank Reconciliations is required. • Strong understanding of General Ledger management. • Must be capable of accurately preparing Journal Entries. • Experience in carrying out Month End Close operations is necessary. • Familiarity with NetSuite software is desirable. • Proficiency in Oracle software is a significant asset. • QuickBooks knowledge and experience is needed. • SAP software expertise is highly preferable.
