We are looking to add a Staff Accountant to the Honolulu Team of Full-Time Engagement Professionals. This role is primarily focused on managing and monitoring various financial aspects to ensure the smooth running of the organization. Responsibilities:
• Oversee the processing of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct regular Bank Reconciliations to verify the company's records are in line with the bank statements.
• Maintain the General Ledger, making certain all financial records are accurate.
• Prepare and record Journal Entries, including Accruals and Adjusting Journal Entries.
• Handle the Month End Close process, ensuring all financial data is recorded and reconciled.
• Utilize Oracle PeopleSoft for various accounting tasks and processes.
• Prepare financial statements and reports, providing valuable financial insights.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data.
• Perform Balance Sheet Reconciliation and manage Balance Sheet Accounts to ensure financial integrity.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) functions
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) operations
• Knowledge of Bank Reconciliations
• Familiarity with General Ledger management
• Capability to handle Journal Entries
• Expertise in Month End Close procedures
• Ability to manage Accruals and Adjusting Journal Entries
• Experience in preparing Journal Entries
• Proficiency in Oracle PeopleSoft
• Skills in Financial Statement Preparation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to perform Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Expertise in managing Balance Sheet Account
