Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in the Wholesale Distribution industry, located in Ontario, California. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all customer applications are processed accurately, maintaining thorough customer credit records, and resolving any customer inquiries that arise. Additionally, the role involves close monitoring of customer accounts and taking relevant action when necessary. Responsibilities: • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications • Maintain detailed and correct customer credit records • Handle and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner • Closely monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed • Perform account reconciliation tasks • Conduct bank, balance sheet, cash, and credit card reconciliations • Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reporting. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Proficiency in account reconciliation • Experience with bank reconciliations • Proficiency in balance sheet reconciliation • Experience with cash reconciliations • Knowledge and experience in credit card reconciliation • Proficient in Excel • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills • Knowledge of wholesale distribution industry is a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
