Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to handle daily accounting operations and assist with month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate will participate in financial reporting using Sage Intacct, Excel/SQL, and assist with tracking and managing the company's inventory. This role involves collaborating with various departments to resolve billing, delivery, and cost issues.

ResponsibilitiesHandle daily accounting operations and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.Participate in financial reporting using Sage Intacct, Excel/SQL.Assist with tracking and managing the company's inventory.Manage physical counts and resolve inventory discrepancies.Reconcile accounts, review general ledger activity, and complete accounting entries.Collaborate with Supply, Accounts Payable, and Operations on billing, delivery, and cost issues.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (CPA not required).Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting.Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).Experience with general ledger, month-end processes, and reconciliation.Experience with inventory tracking and management.Experience with ERP or accounting systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to thrive in a dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities.Strong problem-solving, project management, and analytical skills.Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with Sage Intacct or Tableau is a plus.Work Environment

The position is based in an office environment, working Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, with some flexibility to start or end a little earlier or later depending on the situation. The office has about 8-10 accountants, fostering a close-knit culture built on respect and collaboration.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00
