Description We are currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Project Accountant to join our finance team. Specialized experience in lien release procedures related to construction projects is mandatory for this position. Responsibilities: + Handle project budgeting and develop financial forecasts. + Process and record all financial transactions linked to the project. + Work closely with Project Managers to ensure precise billing and job costing. + Track project progress, identify variances, and implement respective corrections. + Regularly deliver project financial updates to senior stakeholders. + Take charge of the lien release process and maintain corresponding records. + Guarantee compliance with state and federal laws in all financial operations. Requirements + Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. + A minimum of 3 years of robust accounting experience, preferably in construction accounting. + Specific, proven experience with lien releases. + Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. + Superior communication and organizational skills. + Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.
