Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant to help a client in the interim. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity in the industry. As a Staff Accountant, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including managing Accounts Payable and Receivable, conducting Bank Reconciliations, and maintaining the General Ledger. Responsibilities: • Oversee the management of Accounts Payable (AP) and ensure all financial obligations are met in a timely manner • Administer Accounts Receivable (AR) operations, including the accurate and efficient processing of customer payments • Perform regular Bank Reconciliations to ensure all transactions align with our records • Keep the General Ledger updated and accurate for financial reporting and auditing purposes • Prepare and post Journal Entries to the General Ledger • Proficiency in using QuickBooks Online for accounting and financial tasks • Monitor financial details to ensure legal compliance • Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations • Document business transactions for future reference Requirements • Must possess expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) • Proficiency in executing Bank Reconciliations is required • Must have experience in making Journal Entries • Knowledge of Quickbooks Online is necessary Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
