Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Clearwater, Florida. This role will be deeply involved in the financial operations of our organization, focusing on areas such as accounting, purchasing, management, and handling insurance aspects. This position will also encompass the oversight of both accounts payable and receivable. Responsibilities: • Oversee the operations and processes of accounts payable and accounts receivable • Manage the financial transactions, including recording journal entries and reconciling bank accounts • Ensure the accuracy of financial records and data • Utilize QuickBooks for financial management and reporting • Oversee the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reports • Play a potential role in shaping the company's future financial leadership structure • Participate in the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline financial operations • Potentially adapt to a hybrid work model depending on performance.
