Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our manufacturing team located in Centennial, Colorado. As a Staff Accountant, you will be tasked with a range of responsibilities that include managing accounts payable and receivable, handling financial reporting, and processing payroll for our team. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Manage a complex accounts receivable process involving tracking billing and shipping against contracts with large companies. • Oversee accounts payable ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and payments are made. • Handle monthly financial reporting and month-end close procedures. • Process biweekly payroll for a team of 31, with a mix of salaried and hourly staff. • Reconcile bank transactions and maintain the general ledger. • Generate journal entries as part of regular accounting duties. • Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks. • Perform additional tasks as necessary, which may include general office duties. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations and management • Experience handling Accounts Receivable (AR) functions • Ability to conduct accurate Bank Reconciliations • Comprehensive understanding of General Ledger management • Expertise in creating and managing Journal Entries • Capability to manage Month End Close processes • Familiarity with NetSuite accounting software • Experience with Oracle financial management systems • Proficiency in using QuickBooks accounting software • Knowledge of SAP business software applications Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
