Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant for a long-term contract with a well known and reputable company in the gaming industry. The Staff Accountant will work remotely, and must live in Las Vegas, NV as you will be required to go onsite on occasion. The Staff Accountant must have a bachelor's degree in accounting, or business-related field, US GAAP experience, and strong Microsoft Excel skills. For immediate consideration, please apply today! Staff Accountant day-to-day responsibilities: • Oversee the general ledger and respond to audit inquiries • Prepare monthly journals for the billing department, with a focus on convention groups and wholesale accounts • Ensure the accuracy of accounting to support accounts receivable and billing departments • Reconcile various accounts receivable accounts and bank statements • Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end experience • Utilize advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting • Interact effectively with internal and external clients, providing guidance on accounting-related issues.
