Description Robert Half is working with a dynamic Media & PR company who are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their team on a temporary basis for 4-6 months. This role requires a candidate who can work on-site in Mid-City, Los Angeles, for 4 days per week. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, experience in media/PR or a related industry, and familiarity with NetSuite (a plus). Key Responsibilities: + Assist with general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. + Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely payments and invoicing. + Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and journal entries. + Support budgeting and forecasting activities. + Collaborate with internal teams to track and report expenses. + Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies. + Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and audits as needed. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in media, PR, or a similar industry. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (NetSuite experience is a plus). + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. + Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. + Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
