Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a Staff Accountant, you will be entrusted with a variety of financial tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. The role is highly critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining our financial records. Responsibilities: • Oversee the smooth operation of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) • Manage general ledger entries and corrections • Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial documents • Utilize software like NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to streamline accounting processes • Ensure accurate and timely month-end close processes • Oversee the preparation and posting of journal entries • Regularly update and maintain financial records and reports • Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies in financial reports • Monitor financial transactions and reports to identify any potential errors or discrepancies • Assist in the development of financial procedures to improve efficiency. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) operations • Knowledge and experience in performing Bank Reconciliations • Familiarity with General Ledger management and oversight • Ability to prepare and record Journal Entries accurately • Experienced in conducting Month End Close processes • Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting tasks • Experience with Oracle in a financial context • Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting purposes • Knowledge of SAP and its application in accounting processes Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
