Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry situated in Southfield, Michigan. We are in search of a Staff Accountant who can uphold our financial records with accuracy and efficiency. This role centers around the thorough management of financial reports, general ledgers, and customer credit applications. Responsibilities: • Uphold the precision of the general ledger and ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met • Analyze financial data and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports • Conduct variance analysis to understand the cause of any discrepancies in the financial data • Perform month-end and year-end closings, ensuring all financial data is accurate • Prepare journal entries and conduct account analysis to verify accurate accounting • Perform financial analysis to identify trends, estimates, and significant changes • Prepare financial statements ensuring they are accurate and prepared in a timely manner • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary For immediate and confidential consideration, please apply today. Requirements • Candidate must possess skills in General Ledger management, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. • Proficiency in Variance Analysis is required, to identify and explain any differences in actual versus budgeted financial performance. • Experience with Month End Close procedures is essential, to ensure all financial data is accurately reported at the end of each month. • Proficiency in Financial Reporting is necessary, to provide clear, concise, and accurate financial statements and reports. • Account Analysis skills are required, to review financial statements and ledgers, identify errors, and make necessary corrections. • Ability to prepare Journal Entries accurately and in a timely manner is required. • Financial Analysis skills are necessary, to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide recommendations for financial decision making. • Expertise in Financial Statement Preparation is necessary, to create comprehensive and accurate financial statements. • Experience with Year End Closings is essential, to ensure all financial data is accurately summarized and reported at the end of the fiscal year.
