Staff Accountant

**Job Summary:**
Adecco is assisting a local client in the search for a **Staff Accountant** . This position will be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial records to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.
**Duties/Responsibilities:**
+ Perform general accounting tasks, including preparing daily and monthly journal entries.
+ Reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy.
+ Assist with annual audits by gathering necessary documentation and account information for external auditors.
+ Maintain knowledge of current accounting practices and procedures.
+ Prepare and review tax reports for compliance and accuracy.
+ Perform revenue audits to ensure proper reporting.
+ Track and manage fixed assets.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.
**Required Skills/Abilities:**
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
+ Solid understanding of general financial accounting principles.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and accounting software.
+ Ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
+ Experience preparing tax reports and analyzing financial data.
**Education and Experience:**
+ Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent education and experience).
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in public or corporate accounting.
+ Experience with spreadsheets, data entry, and proprietary accounting software.
+ Prior experience in the gaming industry is preferred but not required.
+ Experience with Konami and Synkros systems is a plus.
+ Must be able to obtain a state gaming license if required.
+ Valid driver’s license required.
**Pay Details:** $23.00 to $24.00 per hour
