Description We are offering a temporary to hire opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Hayward, California, in the Hi Tech Engineering industry. As a Staff Accountant, you will be tasked with a wide range of responsibilities including, but not limited to, journal entries, month-end procedures, accounts receivable collections, data entry, and budget updating. Responsibilities: • Execute journal entries, focusing on areas such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed assets, and Prepaids. • Conduct month-end closing procedures to ensure all financial data is accurate and up to date. • Manage Accounts Receivable collections, utilizing automated email sending for efficiency. • Perform accurate data entry tasks, including entering product defects for various departments. • Collaborate with the president on updating the budget sheet. • Utilize software such as QuickBooks (Desktop), Impress, and Excel for various accounting tasks.
