Staff Accountant Job Details Job Location Grafton - N. If so, this position at the Grafton Job Corps Center could be for you! Here at Job Corps, we are a federally funded program working with students ages 16-24, helping provide them free academic and career training along in a Residential school environment. This position leads the finance department of the center. The schedule of this position is 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday The pay for this position is $60,000 annually. This position comes with access to our full benefits package! Work Environment:This is an in-person position based at Grafton Job Corps. The Staff Accountant will work closely with the Director Team as well as other departments across the center. Position Summary The Staff Accountant will be essential in ensuring the financial stability of Grafton Job Corps by supervising key accounting functions. This includes managing Accounts Payable, Payroll, Bank and relevant Account Reconciliations, Accruals, and various other financial responsibilities. Manages and supervises Bookkeeper. Qualifications Required - + Bachelors' degree in Accounting or Associated Business Field. + 2 years of Accounting Experience, with a focus in Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliation, Accruals, and general ledger maintenance. + 2 years of Supervisory Experience + Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. + Proficiency with Microsoft Excel + Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and timemanagement skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the abilityto interact effectively with both staff and students. + Must successfully pass the company accounting assessment test. “Adams and Associates, Inc. abides by the requirements of 41 CFR §§ 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
