Description Are you an experienced accounting professional with a solid background in NetSuite? We are seeking a Staff Accountant for a remote, contract position with a dynamic organization. Key Responsibilities + Financial Record Maintenance: Manage daily accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting, ensuring timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes. + NetSuite Expertise: Leverage your advanced NetSuite knowledge to streamline processes, maintain system accuracy, and resolve system-related challenges for accounting operations. + Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, track expenses, and manage collections related to accounts payable and receivable while ensuring compliance with financial standards. + Budgeting and Forecasting Support: Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support strategic business decisions. Aid in identifying opportunities for operational improvements. + Compliance and Auditing: Ensure financial processes and records comply with GAAP and company policies. Provide assistance during external audits to maintain transparency and accuracy. Requirements Qualifications + Prior experience in financial services, lending, and/or banking + Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience (contract or full-time). + NetSuite expertise is required; candidates must demonstrate proficiency during the interview process. + Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting. + Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
