Description Our client in the Manufacturing industry is searching for an Accountant on a contract to hire basis for their North Houston location. This position encompasses all aspects of accounting, along with payroll, and human resources functions. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience, preferably working in a small office environment. This position is fully in office, Monday-Friday from 8-5. Responsibilities include: + Full cycle accounts payable + Vendor management + Full cycle accounts receivable, billing customers, and collections + Cash flow management and forecasting + Inventory control and management + Payroll processing for under 20 employees + Bank and account reconciliation + Month-end close + Insurance and benefits administration Requirements + 10+ years of experience in similar role + Must have full cycle accounting experience + Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred + Manufacturing or Oil and Gas industry experience highly preferred + Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and wear many hats + QuickBooks software experience is required + ADP software is a plus, but not required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
