Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an AP Staff Accountant in Cerritos, California. As an AP Staff Accountant, you will be handling sensitive financial data, generating reports, and ensuring the accuracy of data from various sources. You will be working closely with the accounts payable and general ledger teams to deliver accurate and timely reports. Responsibilities: • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of Concur expense reports, verifying that all receipts are included and that company policies are adhered to. • Generate and reconcile bank reports from various institutions with daily banking reports in a timely and efficient manner. • Manage month-end deadlines, including the generation of month-end reports. • Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts and journal entries. • Prepare Sales and Use Tax Returns for various entities. • Maintain and update daily reporting to the management team. • Identify discrepancies in bank deposits and payables through timely and accurate research. • Run daily, weekly, and monthly reports in Sage Intacct, Concur, CyberSource, and other financial systems. • Create new vendors within the Sage Intacct database and maintain a new vendor tracking sheet. • Handle credit card bill payments. • Upload manual checks into the bank's positive pay portal. • Prepare payroll packets and arrange for the delivery of manual payroll checks to the appropriate entities. • Organize and maintain Accounting Department documents through copying, scanning, and filing. Requirements § Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, emphasis in accounting or finance. § Experience with MAS 90 or MAS 200 or Sage 100 or Sage Intacct or other accounting software. § Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook user is required. § At least three years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate office environment Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
