Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our team located in Irvine, California. The role involves maintaining and overseeing all accounting functions for both personal and corporate properties, as well as related investments. Responsibilities • Oversee all accounting functions for personal and corporate properties, and related investments. • Maintain and update journal entries as needed. • Prepare Cash Flow Statements and deliver monthly financial package. • Assist with loan and refinancing applications, including researching purchase price, purchase date, and expenses spent on construction and capital improvements. • Enter and reconcile escrow statements and maintain files on all bank loans. • Maintain a record of all expenses paid with loan refinancing cash. • Reconcile and maintain credit card files and receipts. • Oversee all personal and business bank accounts, including monthly bank statements and reconciliations in QuickBooks. • Code and enter payable invoices for all personal and commercial properties, personal bills. • Provide Tax Information To Accountant, as required. • Reconcile Year-End Mortgage Statements and Year-End Bank Statements. • Maintain Spreadsheet for All Construction Projects and petty cash account for Construction Contractor. • Maintain Insurance Records for all properties, vehicles, and water crafts. Requirements • Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations • Ability to maintain and manage the General Ledger • Expertise in preparing and reviewing Journal Entries • Prior experience in handling Month End Close activities • Familiarity with NetSuite accounting software • Proficiency in Oracle financial software • Strong knowledge and experience in using QuickBooks • Experience with SAP financial software • Ability to use QuickBooks Enterprise is preferable Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
