Description One of our clients is looking for a strong Staff Accountant for a contract to permanent position. ***Contact Ade Henderson via LinkedIn for immediate consideration*** + Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies. + Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and intercompany transactions. + Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal reporting packages. + Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance. + Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. + Monitor compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. + Support audits (internal and external) by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries. + Maintain and update accounting systems, such as NetSuite + Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Requirements + Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required). + Experience: 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience (public or private). + Technical Skills: + Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis). + Experience with ERP software + Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles. + Exceptional attention to detail with solid analytical and organizational skills.
