Description Our client in the beverage industry is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their team! This role will be instrumental in supporting our day-to-day accounting operations and contributing to accurate and timely financial reporting. A strong understanding of NetSuite is preferred for this position. About the Role: The Staff Accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, working closely with the Accounting team to ensure the integrity of our financial records. Responsibilities: + Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. + Perform bank reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations. + Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and supporting schedules. + Maintain fixed asset records and track depreciation. + Support the preparation of financial reports and analyses. + Assist with internal and external audits. + Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures. + Utilize NetSuite to its fullest potential, including data entry, reporting, and system maintenance. + Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. + Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. + 2+ years of relevant accounting experience. + Proficiency in NetSuite is required. Experience with NetSuite modules related to GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Reporting is highly desirable. + Strong understanding of GAAP. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. + Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
